Homeschool Humor

Animal Antics

Each week in school, we study a different animal or group of animals. At the end of each week, I give an oral quiz. Last week we studied skunks, opossums, raccoons, etc. During the quiz, I asked the question, "The skunk has a very strong weapon. What is it?" Autumn blurted out, "Farting!"

Well, I guess you could call it that!

Amber asked this question yesterday:

"Mom, if you go to a public school and you goof off in class, do you get sent to the presidents room? I mean, the president's office?"

"The principal's office?" I asked.

"Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say."

We have rats in the chicken run. They come out at night and eat the chicken's food. Eric said we need to get a rat trap. Tonight, this is the conversation that took place:

Christine: I bought a mouse trap today.
Eric: A mouse trap or a rat trap?
Christine: It's a mouse trap.
Eric: That won't work.
Autumn: That's okay, the rats don't care.
