Cinderella

Music moves me. And there's a new song out by my favorite singer/songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman, called Cinderella, that I think every young father should listen to. I cry every time I hear it. I just bought the whole CD, This Moment, and it's worth purchasing. There's a great song on the CD written especially for young mothers, called One Heartbeat, that also is a tear-jerker. To hear Cinderella, click SCC's link below, and let me know what you think.

It might just be because I'm pregnant, but I cried a little too! Of course, I have a soft spot for SCC and his music. I can't believe how big his kids are- I feel ancient! :-) Thanks for posting that, it's going on my Christmas list!

Listening to that song brings me back to my wedding day. The look in my dad's eyes said way more to me than he ever said to me in words. I can only imagine the look in David's eyes when he dances with Taylor and Alexandra on their wedding day....Yes...I'm a wreck. I need more tissue. xoLea

Oh my! That is so beautiful and Glenn is going to have to go through it times two!!!
And then Lea's note just made me think about my dance with my dad. There needs to be a tissue warning on that post!

Tissue warning, INDEED! I started dancing with Keira in my arms and Casse was in front of me on our "dance floor" (dining room wood floor, that's where we hold all our family dance parties). And, yep, you guessed it... I started crying my poor little eyes out! I feel like I flashed forward 20-some-odd years ahead & imagined Billy dancing with the girls on their wedding day. Then I started thinking about the boys and the mix of emotions I'll have when I'll "lose" my precious sons to become one flesh with their wives. WOL (wail out loud)!!! I dare not go read the kid's book, "Let Me Hold You Longer" right now, unless someone is planning on coming over to save me from drowning in my own tears!

I don't know why...but I couldn't get it to play for me (at least so that I could hear it). And I would really like to join in all this crying!

Um, okay...it would probably help if my speakers were ON. Okay, now I am crying and my husband got to hear the song too....=)
